Jennifer Bartel, M.M. Manhattan School of Music; B.M. DePaul University. Jennifer is the recipient of many awards including: winner of the Union League Civic and Arts Foundation competition; first place winner in the Society of American Musicians Young Artist Competition; winner of the University of Chicago Concerto Competition.

She was a guest artist on the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concert Series at the Chicago Cultural Center which was broadcast live on WFMT. She has performed with the Elgin Symphony, Rockford Symphony, Park Ridge Civic Orchestra, and Kenosha Symphony Orchestras.

Ms. Bartel served on the board of the Chicago Flute Club both as Coordinator of the Annual Solo Competition and as Director. She is frequently invited to adjudicate student competitions.

As a flute performer and teacher in the Chicago area, Jennifer has been teaching flute students ages 8 to 88 in Highland Park and on the North Shore since 2000.
